WELCOME TO COOK’S COTTAGE & THE MAP ROOM |

Originally settled by French Huguenots in the 17th century,
Franschhoek has become the gourmet capital of South Africa. This picturesque
village is nestled between towering mountains in the Cape Winelands
in one of the most beautiful valleys in the country. The cottages are situated
in the heart of the village & within a few minutes walk of the renowned
restaurants.

COOK'S COTTAGE:
Cook´s Cottage is ideal for two couples or a small family. The master
bedroom upstairs contains a mosaic bath under the window, built-in cupboards
& DSTV. It has a shower room & separate toilet. The adjoining study,
has a sofa bed, large desk & an ADSL/Broadband connection. Downstairs is
the second double bedroom with built-in cupboards & a shower room across
the corridor. The fully-equipped kitchen is open-plan & overlooks the dining area &
living room. French doors lead out to the verandah which has a dining table,
sofa & chairs. The pool is found at the side of the house.
 
THE MAP ROOM:
The Map Room can accommodate 4 people and is an unusual accommodation
arranged over two floors with the bedroom downstairs & the living area
upstairs. The master bedroom has a built-in sultan's bath leading into an en-suite
‘wet-room' with shower. A twin bedded room is also available upon request.
Upstairs is the expansive open plan & double-volume fully equipped kitchen,
living room & dining area with a log fireplace. There is also a Flat-screen
TV with DSTV, DVD & classic movie selection.
